It is our mission to provide a peaceful passing while you and your pets enjoy the comfort and privacy of your own home. We hope that a familiar home environment will provide a less stressful atmosphere for your pet and ease the burden of the euthanasia decision.
Home Euthanasia Includes:
Drive time/mileage (if within 30 miles of Lima, OH)
Home visit
Sedation and Euthanasia
Clay Paw Print and/or lock of fur keepsake (if desired)
Same day visits available in emergency situations depending on schedule
Cash or check is preferred, however credit cards can be accepted for a 5% fee.
About Our Veterinarian
Dr. Sherri Recker grew up on a small farm in Columbus Grove, OH and found a love for animals very early in childhood. She did her undergraduate studies at the Ohio State Lima Branch and the University of Findlay campuses. She obtained her doctorate at Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She started out practicing general medicine but grew to love spay/neuter surgery and hospice care. Dr. Recker wanted to provide an in-home euthanasia option to the Lima area because she would want that option for her own animals. She believes in compassionate care and strives for excellent bedside manner.
Dr. Recker is married and has four children, two dogs, and three cats. She enjoys fishing, hiking, gardening, playing cards, square dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
